CHOCOLATE CHIP CAKE

From Billie Reid

1 box yellow cake mix.
(Mom: "I found another recipe which called for Choc. cake mix, so I think the choice is yours.")
Small box instant chocolate pudding
3 eggs
3/4 cup cooking oil
8 oz. carton sour cream
3/4 cup water
3/4 cup pecans
6 oz. pkg chocolate chips

Combine first 6 ingredients and beat for 4 minutes.

Add pecans and chocolate chips.  Pour into buttered and floured Bundt cake pan.

Bake for 1 hour and 10 minutes @ 350 degrees.

(Mom: "This does not need frosting, but I wanted some, so I found this recipe.  If you are interested in frosting, you can try this or another.")

CHOCOLATE SATIN GLAZE

2 TBSP sugar
3 TBSP water
1/2 cup Hershey's Mini Choc chips, semi-sweet

Combine sugar and water in small saucepan; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture boils and sugar is dissolved.  Remove from heat; immediately add Mini chips, stirring until melted  Continue stirring until glaze is desired consistency.

(Mom: "I tried this and it was too thick.  Original recipe called for 2 TBSP water, so I changed it to 3 TBSP.  1/2 cup chips may also be too many.????")
