WALDORF SALAD

WALDORF SALAD

2 cups apples, diced
1 cup celery, chopped
1/2 cup nuts, broken
1/2 cup mayonnaise (half mayo, half whipped cream, if desired)

Combine ingredients and chill thoroughly. Waldorf tastes best if made just before eating.

Tip:  if the apples are prepared in advance, squeeze lemon juice over them to prevent browning.
