MERINGUE COOKIES 1969

From Billie Reid - From Lilvia Graubner, Orlando

3/4 cup sugar
2 egg whites
1/8 t. cream of tartar
1/8 t. salt
1 t. vanilla

Beat egg whites stiff.

Add sugar, cream of tartar, salt, vanilla.

Add nuts and chocolate bits.

Bake at 300 on brown paper for 25 minutes.
