TROPICAL CHICKEN



TROPICAL CHICKEN

From Judi Troyer  (from jar of Musselman applesauce)

2 1/2 lb. fryer, cut up pieces
1  15-oz. jar apple sauce
1/2 cup orange marmalade
1/4 t. nutmeg

Season chicken with salt and pepper.

Place skin side down in a 9 x 13  2" baking dish.

Mix apple sauce, marmalade and nutmeg. Pour around chicken.

Bake in oven at 375 for 35 minutes.

Turn chicken and spoon sauce over pieces.

Bake 35 minutes more.

Serve with sauce drizzled.
